Since the chain of custody must be maintained for all fire evidence, all debris:
a. should remain in place until the order is given to move it.
b. must be moved to a single location outside the structure.
c. can be moved right away as long as it is protected and labeled.
d. must immediately be taken to the office of the fire investigator.
