Answer: Seborrhoeic dermatitis

This is a chronic inflammation of the sebaceous glands that characterized by redness, dry or oily scaling, or crusting and/or itchiness, soreness that may be attached to the hair shaft, beside the nose or mouth. It could also occur in infants but the condition resolves itself within days and with no treatment is needed.
