There is a strong positive linear correlation between rainfall and the number of peaches a tree produces. Does this mean that the more rainfall causes peach trees produce more fruit?

Yes.  The more rainfall there is, the more peaches will grow.  On a graph, that would be a line going diagonal and up to the right.
