If a twelve hour clock is set at the correct time on the afternoon of may 17 if the clock loses 6 minutes per day what is the next calendar day on which it will show the correct time

Solution:

12 hours = 12 * 60 minutes = 720 minutes

Number of days lose = [tex] \frac{720}{6} = 120 days  [/tex]

So, 17th May + 120 days = 14th Sep.
