I use DESMOS.com to look at graphs.
Absolute value rules: If it's within the |absolute value| signs then the + means a vertical left (2 in this case), and a - is a vertical right
Hope this helps!
Hint for the future: each equation absolute value, conical, etc. They all have patters and you can find those either by messing around with desmos or finding resources on websites!
