The trade winds are surface winds that are found in tropical regions. The winds blows from the east towards the west. These are present in the lower earth's atmosphere that is troposphere. It blows towards the earth's equator. The trade winds are responsible for tropical storms in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean.
