h(x) = x + 7/4

Replace h(x) with y

y = x + 7/4

Swap x and y

x = y + 7/4

Solve for y.

Subtract 7/4 from both sides.

y = x - 7/4

Replace y with h(x)^-1

h(x)^-1 = x - 7/4
