How are transgenic bacteria useful to humans

ANSWER: Transgenic bacteria are those bacteria that have been genetically modified. The bacteria are useful for humans and they are used in many ways, for instance, they are used in large production of some human proteins, which are needed for correction of genetic disorders. One good example of this is that of production of insulin, which is used to manage diabetes condition in humans, that are devoid of the enzyme. Transgenic bacteria are also used for modelling of human diseases.
