Solve x/12+1/3=5/6 please help me resolve

Subtract 1/3 from both sides

x/12 = 5/6 - 1/3

Simplify 5/6 - 1/3 to 1/2

x/12 = 1/2

Multiply both sides by 12

x = 12 × 12

Simplify 1/2 × 12 to 12/2

x = 12/2

Simplify 12/2 to 6

x = 6
