We know that

(a)  Work done = force × distance

      8000 J    = F x 30 m

                 F   = 8000 J / 30 m

(b) Power = work done / time taken

      3500 W = 8000 J/ time taken  

       3500 W x time taken = 8000 J  

         Time taken = 8000 J / 3500 W =2.28 s
