How did east Africa’s location help it to become major international trading center

Answer:

The reason that east Africa was located on two water bodies, namely the Indian ocean and the red sea resulted this region to become a major international trade center.

These two water bodies were the major trade routes for the countries in east Africa. The major export of east Africa to other countries of the world were tea, cut flowers, fish and some vegetables also. It was also known for exporting tobacco.
