During and after the Renaissance, telescope was considered a huge discovery which gave tremendous input in the scientific world. It helped the scientists to measure things that were impossible to measure before e.g. speed of light, gravity and etc. It allowed exposure of the universe that was beyond earth and impossible through the naked eye.
