−6+(5)(1)+(5)(−x)=−13+−7x(Distribute)

−6+5+−5x=−13+−7x

(−5x)+(−6+5)=−7x−13(Combine Like Terms)

Step 2: Add 7x to both sides.

−5x−1+7x=−7x−13+7x
