What would likely happen to a boulder in the path of a glacier?

The boulder would break into smaller pieces of rock under the pressure of the glacier. The glaciers crushes and compacts a boulder. Rocks and boulders that are moved by a glacier and deposited when the glacier melts are called glacial erratics.
