Rate of change of velocity = V₂ - V₁

Therefore Acceleration = ( V₂ - V₁ ) ÷ Time

∴ Rate of change of velocity = 120 - 65 = 55m/s

Time = 9.0 s.

∴ Acceleration = 55 ÷ 9 = 6.1 m/s²
