Plug (-1) into the x then you'll get 2(-1)+2 then you'll get 0 because -1 times 2 is -2 and -2 plus 2 equals 0

First plug in F(-1) into F(x)+2x+2
F(-1)=2(-1)+2
Solve
F(-1)= -1 + 2
F(-1)= 1
So when the function is -1, x equals 1
