multiply [tex] \frac{2}{10} [/tex] by 10 to get [tex] \frac{20}{100} [/tex] so that the fractions have equal denominators. then, add the 62 in [tex] \frac{62}{100} [/tex] with the 20 in [tex] \frac{20}{100} [/tex] to get [tex] \frac{82}{100} [/tex]. when simplified, the answer is [tex] \frac{41}{50} [/tex]
