How do you find any asymptotes of k(x)=3/(x^2 5)?

No number makes this function indeterminate, so you have to find the limit when x tends to infinity:
=(3/x^2)/(x^2/x^2+5/x^2) = 0/(1+0) = 0  so the asymptote is y=0
