When solving
(x + 35) = -7, what is the correct sequence of operations?

First, you would subtract 35 from both sides of the equation or you could just divide everything by 1 to get rid of the parentheses but that wouldnt change anything
(x+35)=-7
-35 -35
Now you have
x=-42
that is your answer^
