First number = x
Second number = x + 2
Third number = x + 4
X + x +2 + x + 4 = 438
Simplify:
3x + 6 = 438
Subtract 3 from both sides
3x = 432
Divide both sides by 3
X = 144
The second number is 144 + 2 = 146
