Why is it important to learn about the Dust Bowl in 2021?

So that we can avoid creating another and suffering the consequences. Bad farming practices and policies led to the Dust Bowl, and these same problems could be created again. Learning about it is also important, in addition to prevention, because it helps us understand what led up to the Great Depression and also how farmers were experiences the Depression even before the rest of the country.
