I need to convert 139° 10′ to radian. In order to do that I need to multiply with π/180 and simplify. How do I do this?

139° 10′ This is degree minutes. Convert the minutes to decimal by dividing the minutes by 60.

10/60 = 0.167

So 139° 10′ = 139.167 degrees.

Now convert to radians:

139.167 x pi/180 = 2.429 radians
