Why don’t we have lunar eclipses every month ?

Because the way our solar system works it only happens either yearly or just depends on the situations

the moons path around the sun is different than the sun it’s tilted while the earth orbits around the sun, and even though the moon is behind earth the moon still gets light from the sun which is why we don’t have lunar eclipses every month.
