the Farmers alliances was created soon after civil war, they fought to organize farmers to get better prices on things necessary for farming, and also they orgnized themselves in chapters creating cooperatives that empowered the local small farmer and gave him the power of an agroupation. They also fought against unequal prices and eventually they formed a poltical party.
