Answer: (-4, -1)
When solving this equation I took the point given (1,4) and subtracted five units from one and five units from four. The reason being because they are asking you what the translation would be if 1 were to be moved 5 units the left causing it to be negative and moving 4, 5 units down causing it also to be negative because of its direction being moved.
