Answer:

x^2 + 4 x + 16 = 0

This does not easily factor so

x = (-4 ± √(16 - 64)) / 2         quadratic equation

x = (-4 ± (-48)^1/2) / 2

x = -2 ±  (-12)^2 i

x = -2 ±  2√3 i
