5/4 = 10/8, so the question is how many times 3/8 can go into 10/8 and you can remove the denominator since it is equal so now the question is how many times does 3 go into 10 which is 10/3 times. You would be able to represent this by x = 10/3

we can use reciprocals here

( 5 / 4 ) * ( 8 / 3 ) = 40 / 12 = 10 / 3 = 3 and 1 / 3
