Paradise Lost is a long narrative poem written from a Christian point of view. The poem is about the story of Adam and Eve, the first humans according to Christian beliefs, who were tempted by the evil angel Satan to disobey God by eating an apple from the tree. This disobedience caused them to lose their home. They would have to work, suffer and eventually, die.
