Which is the point-slope form of a line that has a slope of -4 and passes through point (-3,1)?

Hi!

The point-slope formula looks like this:

y-y1=m(x-x1)

in this case

y1=1

m=-4

x1=-3

plug in the values

[tex]\boxed{\boxed{\bold{y-1=-4(x-(-3)}}}[/tex]

Note:

For Point-Slope Form, we use a point that the line passes through and the slope of the line.
