45 miles because 45 minutes is 3/4 of an hour. So to find how many miles they travelled at 60 miles per hour, you need to multiply 60 by 3/4. One way to do that is to divide 60 by 4 which is equal to 15 then multiply 15 by 3 which is equal to 45 miles.
