y=mx+b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=(4-8)/(-3-3)-4/-6=2/3 so

y=2x/3 + b, using either point, we can solve for the y-intercept...using (3,8)

8=2(3)/3 + b

8=2+b

b=6 so the line is:

y=2x/3 + 6 or more neatly

y=(2x+18)/3
