How do you find the area of an irregular figure

To find the area of irregular shapes, the first thing to do is to divide the irregular shape into regular shapes that you can recognize such as triangles, rectangles, circles, squares and so forth... Then, find the area of these individual shapes and add them up! That's what i found online, hope it helps!

Answer:

Break the figure into a parallelogram and a triangle. Find the area of each using the formulas A=bh and A=1/2bh. The sum of the areas is the area of figure.
