Why can't a triangle have more than one obtuse angle

The sum of interior angles of a triangle is 180. If there were two obtuse angles, then their sum would exceed 180 and it would be impossible for the third angle to exist.

An obtuse angle is more than 90 degrees. The three angles within any triangle always equal exactly 180 degrees. If two angles are obtuse, they will add up to mate than 180 degrees. Therefore, it's impossible for more than one angle in a triangle to be obtuse.
