essentially, the solutions will be where the two equations intersect.
y=-x^2+7
y=2x+4

2x+4=-x^2+7.
2x=-x^2+3.
x (x+2)-3=0
quadratic formula=> x=1,-3
(1,6) and (-3,-2) are the solutions to the intercepts
