5+j(3)=n. In this equation, n is the sum of 5 and j(3); j is multiplied by 3 here because we must triple it. Since the equation is asking for 5 more than 3 times j, we must express the equation as n=5+j(3)

5 + 3j ( I think that should be it because when you triple something you just multiply by 3 , and more than refers to addition)
