Well 1+7 =8
And 7+1 are the same digits so 1+7=7+1=8

Explanation: For this, we take two different numbers.

Let the first number be [tex]x[/tex] and the second number be [tex]y[/tex]

We use the commutative property, which says that the sum will remain same in whatever way the numbers are written.

Mathematically,

[tex]x+y=y+x[/tex]

From the question,

x = 1

y = 7

Putting this in the commutative property equation, we get:

[tex]1+7=7+1[/tex]

Hence, the sum of both the umber will be same.
