If you select the entire text and choose the justify option, it means that both sides of your document will be aligned perfectly and that no lines would stick out. On the other hand, if you choose left, only left side will be aligned; if you choose right, right side will be aligned; if you choose center, your text won't be aligned, it will just be located in the central part of the page.
