The answer is that the major somatic sensory pathway carries proprioceptive input is spinocerebellar pathway.
There are different 
pathways that carry sensory info from skin, that are  spinothalamic pathway, posterior column pathway and spinocerebellar pathways, each pathway has its own functions.
