They are both made of water, but beyond that there are no similariities.

Glaciers are found in areas the net accumulation of snow excceds the melt. So theyvate mostly gound in areas of high elevation. Cold temp. Etc

Greysers are found areas of shallow crust with high heat such as hotspots
