If Sam bought a wagon for $50:00 and he paid 10% sales tax. How much did Sam pay for the wagon?

Sam would have paid 55 dollars.  Since the sales tax is 10%, you would find 10% of 50, which is 5.  Then add five to the 50 dollar wagon price to find the total cost of 55 dollars.
