A) 150% is also 1 1/2 times the original amount, so to find 100% of the number divide it by 3 to get 21 for the bike and 7 for the helmet, then multiply it by 2. 
The bike cost $42 and the helmet cost $14 for the company. 
B) They earned $21 for the bike and $7 for the helmet, the numbers we got earlier by dividing the other numbers by 3, which is how much they marked up prices.
