how to find the 29th term of the arithmetic sequence -36-32-28-24

Lets get started :)

To find the nth term of an arithmetic sequence, we use the formula given in the picture I have attached.

The common difference between these numbers is -4;
32 - 36 = -4 , 28 - 32 = -4 , 24 - 28 = -4

Finding the 29th term:
a₂₉ = 36 + ( 29 - 1 )( -4 )
      = 36 + (28)(-4)
      = 36 - 112
      = - 76
