[tex]1 \dfrac{3}{5} lbs = \dfrac{8}{5} lbs[/tex]
[tex]3 \dfrac{1}{2} lbs = \dfrac{7}{2} lbs[/tex]

Peaches =
[tex]0.6 \div \frac{8}{5} \\ = 0.6 \times \frac{5}{8} \\ = 0.375[/tex]

Apples =
[tex]1.75 \div \frac{7}{2} \\ = 1.75 \times \frac{2}{7} \\ = 0.5[/tex]

Answer: Apples cost more per pound.

Hope this helps. - M
