1.Animals have adapted to the harsh weather conditions and long winters of the tundra.
2.Animals migrate to eat insects that live there year round.
3.Many animals in the tundra hibernate during the long, cold winter months.
4.Animals are most active in the short summer as the snow melts and shallow wetlands form.
