Lewis became the chairman of Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and became one of the big 6 leaders and played many roles in Civil Rights Movement. According to him if Civil Rights Act was before Congress it would definitely not pass,it needs to be voted. According to him racial segregation in the United States should end.
